How much does custom jewelry cost?
Let's start with the question everybody wants answered: "How much is custom jewelry going to cost?"
Custom jewelry doesn't have a single price because each piece is different. The price depends on the metal, gemstones, construction, and level of detail going into your specific piece of jewelry.
But that doesn't mean you have to guess. We don't want you to feel ambushed, or go in blind.
Here's a quick look at our typical pricing. These aren't packages or fixed-price menus, they're just useful ranges to help you get an idea of where your project is likely to land.

Under $3000
This is where you'll find simpler custom pieces like classic wedding bands, straightforward pendants, smaller pieces, and some heirloom projects.
Simple doesn't mean cheap or disposable. A well-designed piece should still be properly engineered, made from solid materials, and built to hold up to actual life.

$3000 - $10,000
Where most of our custom work lives. This is where you'll find substantial pieces, intricate stone layouts, and projects that require considerably more work at the bench.

$10,000+
Larger gemstones, substantial metal weights, complicated construction, unusual materials, extensive hand-setting, and some genuinely weird things we've been asked to build can all push a project into this range.
If you've got a particularly ambitious idea, we'll tell you what it will take to build it before you spend a dime.
What Does it Cost to Get Started?
Nothing.
Seriously.
Your consultation is free, and so is the initial design work.
We'll sit down, talk through what you're thinking, look at your jewelry if you're incorporating something you already own, discuss materials and budget, and figure out how to bring your idea to life.
From there, we'll create an initial design and render so you can see where we're headed before committing to the project.
You don't pay us just to have the conversation.
If we decide we're a good fit and you want us to build the piece, we'll move forward from there.
We believe custom jewelry should be a collaborative process. You shouldn't have to spend hundreds of dollars just to find out whether you like working with us.
Custom Engagement Rings
Most of our custom engagement ring mountings fall somewhere around $3,000–$6,000, before the center stone.
That includes the custom design, engineering, metal, casting, finishing, and hand-setting.
We price the center stone separately because there are a lot of ways to approach that part of the equation.
You can spend less than $1,000 on something like a lab-grown diamond, or you can spend tens of thousands on something exceedingly rare and precious.
Our job is to help you figure out what makes sense for your ring, your priorities, and your budget, rather than starting with a diamond and building the rest of the ring around whatever happens to be sitting in a case.

Why Is One Custom Piece $2,500 and Another $25,000?
Two rings can look surprisingly similar and have very different costs. There are a lot of reasons for this, for example:
Metal weight matters.
Stone quality matters.
Setting style matters.

How much hand work is involved matters.
Sharing your budget with us up front allows us to play with all of these different factors to help you get the look you want at a price that is comfortable for you.
Another thing that matters a lot is proper engineering. We believe in building jewelry that you can wear, and live in - pieces that will look as good ten years from now as they do the day you pick them up.
