J. Fox Custom isn't a row of cases, or a collection of catalogs. Here, you make an appointment, sit down with the people actually designing your jewelry, and we figure it out together.

  • Private Appointments - Your appointment is your time. No crowded cases, no sales floor, no salesperson hovering nearby. Let's talk about what you're looking for and what makes sense.
  • Talk to the Designer - You're not playing telephone with a salesperson who sends it somewhere else. You work directly with Jake or Jeff from the beginning, so the person helping you make decisions actually understands how the piece will be designed and built.
  • No Cases - We don't keep a room full of jewelry waiting for someone to buy it. We start with you, then design the piece around what you actually want.
    This means you never have to choose between "almost right" and "I'll take it."
  • Honesty- If a stone isn't right for the design, if something won't wear well, if we think there's a better way to do something... We'll tell you.
    We're not here to take your money and push you out the door. We're here to help you end up with something you'll still love years from now.

FAQ

How much does custom jewelry cost?

There's no single price for custom jewelry. A simple piece might be under $3,000, while more elaborate projects can run well into five figures.

We'll always do our best to design around your budget. If we can't build something properly for what you want to spend, we'll tell you and look for another solution.

What if I don't know what I want?

That's completely fine.

You don't need a sketch, a Pinterest board, or even a particularly good explanation. Tell us what you like, what you don't like, and what the piece needs to do. We'll take it from there.

Figuring that part out is one of our specialties.

How does the process work?

We start with a conversation, then turn that conversation into a 3D design and realistic renderings. You'll see exactly what we're proposing before you commit to having it made.

Once you've approved the design and made your deposit, we build it.

No guessing. No hoping the finished piece looks like the picture in your head.

How long does it take?

Most projects take a few days to design and price, followed by about 3–5 weeks to build once the design is approved.

Some projects are faster. Some are considerably more complicated. If you have a deadline, tell us up front and we'll let you know what is realistic.

Can you use my existing jewelry?

Absolutely.

Heirloom diamonds, gemstones, and sometimes even your existing gold can become part of something completely new. We'll look at what you have, talk through what makes sense to keep, and tell you honestly when something is better left as is.
